A Charlotte activation works when people stop and watch, and a press pulling a shirt in front of them does exactly that. We size the build to the space, whether it's a live printing booth in a tight South End taproom, a room at Camp North End or a game-day setup near Bank of America Stadium in Uptown.
Live t-shirt printing activations we build in Charlotte
- A station styled to your brand: signage, colors and a design menu that match the rest of the build, in Uptown or out in Ballantyne.
- Personalization on demand: DTF handles names and full-color art without new screens.
- Something worth posting: the print coming off the press is the photo, and guests take it without being asked.
- A crew that travels with the kit: gear ships freight from Fullerton and the crew lands a day early. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice.
Good fits: Panthers game-day activations, Spectrum Center concourses and New-South brand launches.
Space, power and timing for a live printing booth in Charlotte
A two-press station takes a 10×10 ft footprint and two 120V/20A circuits. South End taprooms along the Rail Trail are old mill and warehouse buildings, and the outlets near the taps tend to share a breaker with the coolers, so we ask the bar for a panel photo before the gear leaves Fullerton. If one circuit is all there is, we run a single DTF lane with a heat press and keep the line moving. Camp North End is the opposite problem: lots of floor, but some of the courtyards and covered bays have no house power at all, so a generator goes on the plan early. Game-day lots around Bank of America Stadium run on generator power and whatever the lot permit allows.
Count on about two minutes per guest at the press, and 100+ an hour from a two-press station. A two-hour window before a Panthers kickoff prints roughly 200 shirts. If your list is longer than that, add hours or set out promo and hard goods guests can grab while they wait, or put a live embroidery hat station next to the press. July and August are humid with late-afternoon thunderstorms, so an outdoor booth needs a canopy with weights and a plan to move under cover when lightning shows up. The crew flies in the day before and the freight arrives ahead of them.
