For Charlotte, six to ten weeks is the comfortable window. The presses ship freight from Fullerton and the crew flies in a day early, so shipping and load-in set the calendar, not press time. If your date is sooner, ask anyway.
A Charlotte booking timeline
- Ten weeks or more - best for Charlotte Convention Center booths, race weekends and large NASCAR Hall of Fame events. Time for art proofing, blank orders, freight and credentials.
- Six to ten weeks - the normal window. Send the date, venue and headcount and we lock the setup and book the freight.
- Two to six weeks - often workable if the art and headcount settle quickly.
- Under 2 weeks - possible with simple art and standard blanks when freight can still make it. Ask and we'll answer fast.
What speeds it up
Have the logo or artwork ready, a rough headcount, the venue and date, and the stations you want. Art needs to be final about a week out, and date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice because of freight.
Short notice? Don’t assume it's too late. Send the date and we'll check freight and crew flights before we say no.

What we check before the freight ships
Lead time depends partly on the venue, so we check the load-in route, the power and the line path as soon as you book. A Convention Center dock window takes longer to lock than a private Uptown room or a small space near Spectrum Center.
Everything comes from our Fullerton shop: presses, flash dryers, heat presses, blanks, tables, signage and the printers. It ships freight to Charlotte and the crew lands a day early. A standard station needs about 10x10 ft and two 120V circuits, and two presses clear 100+ shirts an hour with a simple design menu.
